Unfortunately for us, TFL will not be holding playoffs to finish off Season 1. Instead, the top ranked clan will be declared the title holder at the end of this first 16-week season. So hopefully MW will have a shot at the title if we are scheduled to play -P- and/or SIT (currently ranked #1 and #2 respectively) in the next couple of weeks.

Tonight we started off STA Season 2 Week 1 with a win versus dance! on cp_labor. According to Konspiracy.org, MW is the second TF2 team to break a 20-game win streak, the first being Kompaniet from Sweden.

After receiving a forfeit win in tonight's IGL matchup versus automatica! we have decided to withdraw from the league as there are few teams remaining. Still, we are unsure whether or not we will join CAL 8vs8 or possibly STA's Highlander instead.

Unfortunately, we were placed in the newbie bracket for STA playoffs since we havent played as many matches as some of the others...even though we have beaten the #1 seeded teams in other leagues already...oh well. So, this coming Tuesday is our title shot match vs. [c4] on ctf_impact and I have a feeling it will be pretty spammy. :O

Originally, I intended to make a 5vs5 TFC team in the summer of 2001. However, plans for that never went through. Now that TFC is pretty much officially dead, its time to move on... Minus crits and pyros, TF2 has been a fairly fun replacement so far. Keeping more in line with TFC-style format, a few of us that were clanless decided to make an 8vs8 clan of our own, and thus MW was formed. With several skilled players from 6vs6 teams, we were able to round out and solidify our roster. Watch for us in the IGL, STA and TFL 8vs8 leagues.
